my name is michael russell, and i am the sole employee of the rough sketch cafe. the cafe is owned by a sharp-dressed fellow named louie, who was kind enough to provide an autographed picture of himself below.

i believe that arts are needed more than ever in these times. i am an amateur writer of prose and poetry, singer-songwriter, doodler, and photographer. i subscribe to the words of pablo picasso, who said "the meaning of life is to find your gift. the purpose of life is to give it away."

the cafe is based in toronto, canada, and is a work in progress. nonetheless, i hope you enjoy the content it has to offer.
